Back In Black!

Yeah,yeah,I know.I am a bit late.....about 3 months late.
That is not much,i warrant you.
Lots of albums i've heard in the meantime though.Actually i want to talk about Master Of puppets but we can keep that for later.I mean it is time to talk about something new. This is my first post of the year 2006!
And if anybody is in the search for some new material to read well......one book i can recommend to you is
The Motorcycle Diaries by Ernesto 'Che' Guevera.
And of course new songs...tell me if i've recommended them somewhere else..these are songs by famous and not so famous bands.......i would certainly say you need them......not necessarily new songs...
1)Anthrax-A.I.R
2)Death Cab For Cutie-Soul Meets Body
3)Crowded House-Don't Dream It's Over
4)David Gilmour-A Pocketful Of Stones(and while I am about it,i would also recommend his new album On An Island from which this song is taken)
5)Gentle Giant-Giant
6)John Vanderslice-Bill Gates Must Die
7)Lucifer Was-Old In Eden
8)Metallica-For Whom The Bells Toll
9)Motorhead-Live To Win
10)Neurosis-Souls At Zero
11)Opeth-Black Rose Immortal(Warning-It is a 20 minute song......and black metal..)
12)Radiohead-Everything In Its Right Place
13)Sepeltura-Refuse Resist(and while you are about it get the Chaos A.D album too)
14)Slayer-Raining Blood(Reign IN Blood album of course)
15)The Coral-In The Morning
16)The Decemberists-Odalisque
17)The Enid-Humouresque(Warning-Symphonic Progressive)
18)Pulsar-Fools Failure
19)The Mars Volta-Televators
20)The Mercury Program-Egypt
21)The Pernice Brothers-There Goes The Sun
22)The Smiths-This Charming Man
23)The Soft Boys-Mr Kennedy
24)The Stratford 4-Hydroplane
25)Therion-Dark Venus Persephone
26)Tool-Parabola
27)Van Der Graaf Generator-La Rossa
28)Yes-Siberian Khatru
29)Weezer-Say It Ain't So
30)Guns 'n' Roses-Welcome To The Jungle
Take the name of any rock genre and chances are that one of the above lisred songs will fit the bill.....
All right thats one month's backlog cleared......woooooooooooooooooooo!
I almost felt that my dire prediction about Iran would come true.......and we still don't know what is gonna happen...
And the football world cup is not all that faraway now!I wish somebody other than Brazil takes the cup..or maybe give a good fight and also i want to see some truly attacking football..also i want a lot of upsets(England gets beaten by Trinidad & Tobago..or something like that..)
And also hasn't WWE become absolutely dull?RAW and Smackdown used to be hilarious and now i can hardly raise a smile.......fuck the script writers....i could have come up with something better than the stuff they show nowadays......

One album i would recommend...-Iron Maiden's self titled debut album.............
Goodbye for now..........everybody.....

What are you doing this New Year's Eve?

Why is New Year celebrated? Why do people who usually are fast and asleep in their beds by 12'o clock stay awake ? (most do,let me tell you). The most obvious reason that strikes me is that it is because of the commercial hype.Companies want to keep the festive mood on after Christmas, obviously.More festivity, more expenditure the middle class will make, more profits they will make.Bollywood stars and the show organizers,as well as private cable TV channels too have a ball. Many people prefer to spend the evening curled up in their beds watching TV.Many people like to party. For what?I guess it goes beyond mere commercial hype.It has to.Mere commercial hype can not kickstart this huge Dec 31 extravaganza.People want to remain happy. They need something to remain happy about. All of us do.I need my beloved rock'n'roll to remain happy.I can't imagine being without my rock music. It is too horrible to imagine.I suppose this celebration and festivity does help in remaining in good spirits. All the year after all we keep getting bad news."56 people dead in a bus accident","Thousands feared dead in earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale",etc. These are the headlines greeting us everyday, jumping out at us ,so to speak. So in the last day of the year we celebrate and try to forget. For example right now ,in the news I saw that a attack has been made by Lakshar Taiba terrorists in the Indian Institute of Sciences and a professor has been killed(These terrorists are idiots and I am lumping Bush and Blair in with them. How can humans be so foolish and think that by the killing of a few people they are going to get world domination and how can leaders of their country think that by invading "terrorist countries" and killing innocent civilians they can eradicate terrorism i don't understand.I mean I am talking about the reasons they give. The real reason is something else but that is another story).
Well, whatever, there are more pros than cons about the whole New Year thingy.Go ahead and blast those speakers on 31st December I say.Kick some ass.
Recommended Song-I Feel Free by Cream.(TA TA TA TATARATA I Feel FREE .LAAAAA LALALALALALAAAA AAAAH I FEEL FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!)
I can definetly sat that I am going to blog till 31st Dec.Maybe 1 or 2 posts till jan 8.Then I might not be on the circuit till Jan 30.That is my birthday.Jan 30 there will be a post here on this very blog.On 31st Dec I am going to make a list of recommended songs, all the songs that I have recommended till now,and also enough songs to make up for my absence. But these 3 days i am going to have a BLAST!
See ya'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
