Yeah,yeah,I know.I am a bit late.....about 3 months late.
That is not much,i warrant you.
Lots of albums i've heard in the meantime though.Actually i want to talk about Master Of puppets but we can keep that for later.I mean it is time to talk about something new.This is my first post of the year 2006!

And also hasn't WWE become absolutely dull?RAW and Smackdown used to be hilarious and now i can hardly raise a smile.......fuck the script writers....i could have come up with something better than the stuff they show nowadays......

Why is New Year celebrated?Why do people who usually are fast and asleep in their beds by 12'o clock stay awake ? (most do,let me tell you).The most obvious reason that strikes me is that it is because of the commercial hype.Companies want to keep the festive mood on after Christmas,obviously.More festivity,more expenditure the middle class will make,more profits they will make.Bollywood stars and the show organizers,as well as private cable TV channels too have a ball. Many people prefer to spend the evening curled up in their beds watching TV.Many people like to party.For what?I guess it goes beyond mere commercial hype.It has to.Mere commercial hype can not kickstart this huge Dec 31 extravaganza.People want to remain happy.They need something to remain happy about.All of us do.I need my beloved rock'n'roll to remain happy.I can't imagine being without my rock music.It is too horrible to imagine.I suppose this celebration and festivity does help in remaining in good spirits.All the year after all we keep getting bad news."56 people dead in a bus accident","Thousands feared dead in earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale",etc.These are the headlines greeting us everyday,jumping out at us ,so to speak.So in the last day of the year we celebrate and try to forget.For example right now ,in the news I saw that a attack has been made by Lakshar Taiba terrorists in the Indian Institute of Sciences and a professor has been killed(These terrorists are idiots and I am lumping Bush and Blair in with them.How can humans be so foolish and think that by the killing of a few people they are going to get world domination and how can leaders of their country think that by invading "terrorist countries" and killing innocent civilians they can eradicate terrorism i don't understand.I mean I am talking about the reasons they give.The real reason is something else but that is another story).
Well,whatever,there are more pros than cons about the whole New Year thingy.Go ahead and blast those speakers on 31st December I say.Kick some ass.

Close To The Edge!I Get Up AND I Get Down!

Listen,today is a foggy day,like the ones in London,I hate weather like that.It is all right to read about that type of weather in Sherlock Holmes and stuff but when I get the real thing i hate it.I hate the cold weather.i don't mind the sunny November weather that is just a wee bit cold but i hate the really cold weather that hits me in December and when the fog comes up i feel extra (so to speak) depressed.I should really be listening to Here Comes The Sun (The Beatles,for all the people living in the jungle before and have recently made contact with society).But I am listening to Yes i really don't know why.their most complex song to top it all.I don't even know why i am recommending it but the fact is I am.here take it,
The band is the progressive band called Yes(this for all the recently civilized people) and the song is the 18 minute magnum opus from the album Close to the Edge and the name is Solid Time of Change/Total Mass Retain/I Get Up.(I get down!) .Now people who want to remain happy and are feeling depressed the song i would recommend is (We Are) The Road Crew by Motorhead sung by Lemmy Kilmister.

Guitar Virtuosos and Demolition Man,I say!!

So finally my dad got his wish and all the illegal structures in Delhi are headed for the bin.Good thing too, I say.people who live by corruption must be punished.The media of course started to show the affected persons in a sorry plight raising sympathy for them but let them have it i say.Not only the people who took bribes must be punished ,the people who gave them must also face the music.Their is talk of regularizing the illegal structures..............no,i say.The officials must have taken money,or the people would not have been allowed to build on the land,the people living there must have given money......no mercy now, i say.Let them have it !!!
2 or 3 years before I used to like these cliched one liners in american movies(oh sorry,Hollywood,but for me it is one and the same thing.),you know,"Come and get some", "Dig this",and you know the stuff.(Specially if you live in an urban part of your country.)Now,not only the one liners,but the whole themes and sets and stories and characters have become cliched.I hate them all.Not only HollyWood but also the movies of my own land,from Bollywood have gone on the same path.Things like social issues,interesting,thought provoking storylines are absent.Totally absent.The only thing in which i take solace in is the fact that like the music underground,there is a film underground,in which the rudimentary things of film making like storylines,acting and so on and so forth have not entirely been lost.
Oh, and I bought a compilation of songs by Yngwie Malmsteen,the guitar virtuoso.I was going to buy Rubber Soul as my present copy has decided to bunk work(Rubber Soul is an album by the Beatles for all you Buddhist Monks and people living in Afghanistan.)

Finally Black Sabbath got some recognition from folks at the Rock'n'Roll Hall Of Fame.Doesn't matter to me one way or the other.The Rolling Stones Magazine hates them anyway,so do the All music Guide and I am never gonna go there.The other bands named for the "honour" were Lynyrd Skynyrd(whom I have started listening to very recently),Blondie(never heard of them),Sex Pistols(who hasn't heard God Save the Queen?If you haven't it is time you did) and perhaps one more guy whose name I have forgotten.

A bigger bang,Maiden,Bihar,HP4

I bought the newest Rolling Stones album "A Bigger Bang",which is infact my first Rolling Stones album(Yeah,yeah,Rolling Stones are the biggest pillar of rock.I know.And I have only heard their latest offering.And I have a review site.I am supposed to know about the biggest bands in the business.Yeah,Yeah.I know)I found it ...well... ok.It has got a very short shelf life though.Somethings are never out of my immediate listening playlist(Pink Floyd,Black Sabbath,Led Zep,Deep Purple,Metallica.Yeah,yeah.I know.The Stones have more talent then all of these combined.But I think otherwise,and you can eat your own dick.)
I would like to insert a obituary here.The subject is Bihar.Some people might think it belated,some people might think it too early,but I think it to be the right time.
Fact is the new CM will effectively end what Laloo started.Laloo just laid the ground ready.Now Hon.Nitish Kumar will suck the life out of the poor state and make it inhabitable.I hope I never go there.
On a more cheerful note ,I saw Harry Potter & the Goblet Of fire yesterday.Dumbeldore's acting was bad,Ron acted well,Granger was her usually bright self.Rita Skeeter was great,Snape was Ok,Voldemort was brilliant,Malfoy was brilliant(though he hadn't got much of a role),Krum was good,so was Fleur Delacour,the plot had been cut in a lot of places,no Dobby or the elf whose name starts with W.No build up,story went too fast,Harry acted like a pussy,seemed to be too vulnerable looking to me.None of the brilliance you see in the book.The yule ball was shot well,infact that was the best part of the whole thing,No Sirius Black,no Bertha Jorkins,but I suppose the plot was to large for them to insert the whole thing in.

There has been a lot happening this year ,you know.The journalists are having a field day.(or year,whichever you like)Just look at this goddamn year.The papers were all over with the Iran Nuke crap today.Of course,for an intelligent perspective coupled with some research facts,you must go to The Hindu.For glam details you can take the TDOI(which was complete with Bush riding bicycles and cricket and the usual nonsense.The Hindu had an article about the oppression being carried out by the American forces(a place TDOI seems to have forgotten.).Did you know for example that the American cowards used White Phosphorous,whose use has been banned?Or that most of the civilians killed are killed in airstrikes?Look how the bastards protect their damned hides.
I am ashamed to say that I live in a country whose government supported the US on the Iran referendum on September 24.Is there a chance that Iran is not going to be referred to the UNSC?Not much chance of that not happening,I would say.If that does not happen ,well all I can say is that the recommended song on Nov 24 here will be QUEEN’s “It’s a miracle!”

Crappy Newspapers,Kipling and Foo Fighters

You know something?Newspapers with a few Exceptions are so damn idiotic.Take THE DAmned Times Of India,the best (or the worst) example of the type of offenders I am talking about.They seem to find it amusing to give non-serious titles to political issues .I can’t particularly remember any of the flippant article headlines right now(and I don’t care if Toi supporters start using it as a point against me.I am not writing a damn lawsuit)but if I wanted I could flip through this week issues and give you plenty of them.Also the only major sports news is always cricket even when the damn team is not playing.As for giving the other sports some space forget it.I am not passionate about any sport as such but the sport persons who figure in Indian sport stories in the whole paper are cricketers and Sania Mirza(You know,I never watched tennis but since she started playing in the grand slams I started watching and having an indian seems to make the game more interesting for me.When I watch others are playing I watch rather disspassionately.I know,I know,Sania’s musical taste is something which I have come to loathe.She listens to Eminem.But I won’t hold it against her,she is like million other 18 year olds.And,yeah,I DO consider myself better than people who listen to EMINEM musically)
Yeah ,back to the vendetta against TDOI(D=Damned),I would also like to comment on the fact on the space they give to ads.I know a newspaper survives on the number of ads it publishes,but TDOI have sacrificed their credibility .Every day they have at least 4 pages of classifields in their MAIN newspaper .Don’t get me started on the supplements.And about that Delhi Times thingy.If they want to publish porn papers why are they doing it here?Why not publish a separate mag?It also contains the Page 3 which is beneath my contempt.I don’t watch TV so I have no use for the TV listings but that page(the Tv listings) seems to have some use.But the rest is typical Tabloid material which should never have been published in a newspaper .From their point of view,Delhi Shit Times is a masterly stroke.With one stroke they have captured the huge housewife/middle class woman area.(also the 13 year old boys who ogle at the photographs,but they are not involved in the decision making process so I have to leave them out.)Also the rock music reviews that come out every week are utter crap.He gave 4 stars(out of 5) to Bruce Springsteen’s Devils & Dope.I would give it…..let me see, perhaps in a good mood, 1.In a bad mood ,0.So,TDOI can go and fuck themselves.I would advise them to throw poop into their printing machines.(They don’t even publish good ,sexy pictures of beautiful women.Only some monkey in a bikini.)
Recommended Rock Song -BEST OF YOU – FOO FIGHTERS.This song kicks so much ass.That is all I am gonna say.

I have been READING recently –Stalky & Co by RUDYARD KIPLING-This book is to Rudyard Kipling what The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn is to Pink Floyd.Jungle Book was Kipling’s Dark Side Of The Moon.This is a oft ignored book when we talk of Kipling.You will sure as sure talk of Jungle Book,Kim,Puck Of Pook’s Hill and what not but I won’t find you talking about Stalky & Co.Yeah ,Yeah Kipling is said to be a racist and all that crap,but I am not going to walk along that hackneyed path.This book is good,clean fun, that is what I say.the chapter “Slaves Of The Lamp Part II” is rather unnecessary.Pompous kipling trademark,to insert some grown up tale of India where it had no place to be.What has it got to do with the original flavour of the story?It is like inserting a country song in a Heavy metal album.It is basically the good ole school story without the familiar class room stories and sleeping at proper time and the whole familiar routine.This is not a goddamn Enid Blyton factory production for good times sake .Of course the old old Boys V/s Teachers feud is the main theme.But this is original stuff(from the perspective of someone who has read the whole Malory Towers,St Clare and god knows what else.lot of other stuff also.)The trio are Stalky(the frontman),Beetle(the poet,singer,songwriter,philospher.People say that he is modelled on Kipling himself.)and the irish M’Turk(solid,good commonsense.).My rating-***1/2.(out of 5)

Well it's been a long time!Been engrossed with studies and all that crap,you know.Not that I'm free right now.I'm not.It's just that I'm feeling free.And that's enough to make one free.And I've got that urge again.This is the last Pink Floyd album I will review (that is,for the time being).The last Pink Floyd album ,unofficially is The Final Cut and I don't possess that.After that David Gilmour and Roger Waters had a court fight and David won so they decided to continue and the impression I get from various reviews on the net(Not the rolling shit mag)is that they all are at best tolerable. And as I do not want to buy a crappy album from my favourite band ,(Waterless too) you will have to do without those.

So what's The Wall like?It's,firstly the only Rock Opera in history of good ole' R'n'R.The ultimate concept album.It is another thing that I have never understood what it is all about.Obviously it is to do with Waters 's life as he wrote all the lyrics,formed the concept and all that crap.Another Brick in The Wall Part 2 is something that every teenager sings 'cause well the lines go something like this

We don't need no education

We don't need no false controls

No dark scarcasm in the classroom(Is the spelling correct?)

I sang that a lot too once.(The video is awfully funny.(It starts with a guy listening to Us And Them.))Comfortably Numb is about drugs.(In fact it is all about the R'n'R lifestyle.)Young Lust is about the rocker and his wife breaking up,and ..what else as far as the concept is concerned?Lots.Every song is a brick in the wall so to speak.Every song has something,some concept behind it.

Enough of concept and all that piece 'a' crap.The album has lots of songs,short ones.It starts off with In The Flesh a really good song.In fact I get the feeling that some live concert has started on hearing that song and that is really what it is all about.It comes two times ,this one and to tell the truth it is not needed that many times.Useless addition.It ends with a baby crying which starts off The Thin Ice.Another good one which would have been made into a good length rock song by a mdiocre rock band.But not Pink Floyd.and then comes the Another Brick in the wall.It's really about the chorus that keeps it going what with all the children singing and ends with a helluva riff.Then comes Mother a veeery scarcastic song.And....

No,No wait a minute.If I start telling you about each and every song you will get bored and won't have any surprises left(Oh, just remembered yesterday was the day when 32 years ago DSOTM reached No 1 on the charts and stayed on the charts for 741 weeks!15 years! (roughly))and I will be late for my damn Physics class.

The only bad song on record is Don't Leave Me Now.The best song ..well hard to say.There is Comfortably Numb,Hey You,Run Like Hell,Another...As I said lots of short good rock songs.The filler material is quite a lot.But it's the filler material that makes the album what it is.Without 'Don't Leave...'And The useless addition of In The Flesh II on the second side this would have been a clear A+.Go buy it if you haven't got it by now.And yes.Pink Floyd is the best band that ever existed.

When Outside the wall ends hear carefully and you will hear someone say softly "Is This where ?"And before In the Flesh you will hear "We came in?".Ha!I spotted something only 1 in a 10,000 notice!

Well I might as well tell you that this is my favourite album of all time so you can except nothing but praise,praise and,yeah more praise from me for this album.And yes I consider this their best ever and Shine On You Crazy Diamond both parts their best song ever.I have been listening to this album for 8 years and I have never got bored yet.It's amazing that they came up with this album right after DSTOM.

Ok,so the radio hit mainly I have come to know through the many sources on the net was the title track which has got to be one of the saddest ballads I have ever heard.Read this now If you haven't read it somewhere before.

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell/Blue skies from pain/Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?A smile from a veil?Do you think you can tell?And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?Hot ashes for trees?Hot air for a cool breeze?Cold comfort for change?And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?How I wish,how I wish you were here/We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year/Running over the same old ground/What have we found?The same old fears/Wish you were here.

I mean these guys really know how to write good lyrics.

(Sorry If I exaggerate a little bit,I just heard Backstreet Boys a few moments ago on Mtv)

I don't know how to describe Shine On You Crazy Diamond but the music is beautiful.There is someone called Dick Parry on the saxophone and he has done a good job .It starts of very slowly and I tended to get impatient the first few times i heard it but the start is as glorious as it is slow.And they say it is a tribute to Syd Barrett.A tribute to lost genius and all that and I can tell you nobody has had a better tribute song written for him.The song has many parts but is slower on the whole,slower than the part 2,which has to be one of the most underrated songs in history.

The second song again uses special effects and to good purpose as the sound effects again fit in very neatly indeed.

Well it is a song lambasting the music industry and that continues on the fastest 'normal' song 'Have a Cigar'.Gilmour's guitar playing is exemplary on this album.He uses his strong points ,his slow meticulous style ,

to full effect on this album and specially on 'shine..'.

In fact this is the best buy on the Pink Floyd catalogue,and if you don't like this album you either hate music or reside in a lunatic asylum.

Specially recommended for 15 year olds.This will never leave your player.

If you listen to Pop and rap crap like M&M and Snoopy Doggy and 50.5 cents I quite understand.

Come on let me take you to the candyshop in da club and buy you some candy.

Well Black Sabbath pretty much invented the genre called Heavy Metal .In fact according to me they were, are and will be the best ever Heavy Metal band.That is they were the best till they threw their lead singer Ozzy Osbourne

out of the band.After that they kept changing singers ranging from Rainbow's Ronnie James Dio to Deep Purple's Ian Gillan and Tony(The Riff Master) Iommi replaced everybody but himself and released that thing you call generic Hair Metal crap.Infact Black Sabbath,the real Black Sabbath lasted for 6 albums only.Once Ozzy was gone the band was doomed.The lyrics were pretty much cartoonish horror movie type and if you listen to what the Ozzman is singing you might start laughing.You will usually find 1 or 2 Ballads per album.In fact there is something called "Fluff" on their 5th album which it is quite literally.The song structures were pretty simple and Ozzy had the habit of singing along with the guitar.This stuff sounds great.And if you don't know anything about Heavy Metal it is recommended to start from here.

What can I say about this album?Brilliant.Inspiring.Creative.Innovative.The best Progressive music alum ever.Lots of special effect which makes sense.The best concept album ever.Ain't met a person who hasn't heard it but has heard rock.Stayed on the charts for god knows how much time.Beatles started looking like fools.

Those were just a few of the adultations heapd on this album.Infact some people don't hear this because of the hype.But they are idiots.This not my favourite Pink Floyd but one of my favourite Pink Floyd albums.Infact i don't want to say too much about this album 'cause it's just a waste of time reviewing this album because no rock music lover is without it.And if somebody,some kid of 6 years has not heard it,go and get it.Now.You will find this thing in grocery shops dammit!

No,that was just an exaggeration.But no music shop calls itself a music shop without this album.

Seriously.

You might not like 'On the Run' on first listen but you will dammit.The hits are.. No wait,the non hits are songs 2,4,7,9.The rest all will be played on the radio till kingdom come.

A compilation containing 2 singles 'Arnold Layne' and 'See Emily Play' and let me tell you Syd Barrett was a genius.It suddenly struck me after listening to 'Arnold Layne' and 'Interstellar Overdrive' in succesion and after that 'See Emily Play'.There some aura about the songs that makes them sad.Where will you hear the guitar so haunting and queer?The tunes on first listen sound bad.Yeah, but that is on first listen.They sound off-key.Not like the Beatles where the songs are much more predictable and radio friendly.

What I meant to say is that Syd Barrett is for die-hard rock fans.

The Beatles?They are for everybody.Even my mum listens to them without saying"This is horrible.How do you hear out this racket?"

I did not describe 'Interstellar Overdrive' properly but that was my first review.

I said it was weird.Well it is.I thought that my headphones were not working properly when i first listened to it.

But it is weird in a good way.Syd does make some forgettable noises but that was his mental instability coming through.it starts off okay bot then it comes down to Syd sliding ball bearings up and down his guitar(maybe..maybe how the hell does he make that weird noise,please somebody let me know)and twanging it to make noises to scare you.I mean to say that this kicks ass.Serious ass.

Like the rest of the album.But why only one song from the 'Saucerful of Secrets' album?And they could have included something better than 'Bike' from their first album.But I totally agree with the song selection from 'Ummalummadumagumma'.

Oh,and a correction.In my 'More' review I mentioned the birds chirping on 'Main Theme.Well it was not 'Main..'

they were making the racket but on 'Cirrus Minor' on here which is one of my favourite songs from'More'.

The only bad song selected by them for this album was 'The Nile Song'.

With so many good songs sitting there waiting to be put on the compilation one cannot forget and forgive.

But still good.An A.Recommended to people who do not have money or casual fans.Recommended also to rich people.

Not recommended for those who have the other albums and not too much money.

This is one of my favourite albums and i would have given this a clear A+ but for 'Seamus'.It's a huge step up for Pink Floyd specially the 23 minute long 'Echoes'which has got to be their best song after 'shine on you..'.This epic is much better than the Atom heart mother epic with almost no boring parts except when they start screaming in between.The album starts off with 'One of these days' .This one kicks ass to the moon, baby.Can this be Pink Floyd!?

A low mean guitar driven thrasher with someone saying something inaudible?Infact I think it was a vocal synthesizer they used.He says someting like "one of these days i'm gonna cut you into little pieces" and then the song really kicks off making me want to bang my head more than all of your idiotic heavy metal bands of nowadays( the key word being nowadays,i really bang my head on listening to Black Sabbath's Paranoid)And then the mood changes with 'A Pillow Of Winds'.Everything slows down.In fact in my opinion they overdid it bringing the album to fullstop in 'Seamus'which is a country song with a dog howling et all.And it's boring.Very boring with 'San tropez' only being a little less boring.

All in all a good album with a terrific B side.And there something like a football crowd singing at the end of 'Fearless'.And if you don't like Echoes go and listen to Britney Spears.Yeah I know that is rather extreme but so is Echoes,damn it all.

Oh yeah.Hell i used to hate this piece of crap when i first listened to it (But i used to hate Black Sabbath when i first heard them so i guess first opinions don't really matter as far as a rock album is considered)but after a few times i got used to the sound that is except for the 13 minute shit stacked on to the end.Why the hell do they keep on with the damn special effects?They are all right when performing with the instruments.Did they think that if they put on a bunch of noises with no connection whatsoever they will become rich?

The classical suite is ok with a lot of orchestra that i didn't like at all but then again i got used to the sound.It starts off slowly like a background for some mythological film but then the drumline kicks in .And then there is that sound of a motorcycle in between thrown in for good measure and then it becomes slow again with a weird doodly sound and the drums in the background.There may be some parts in the song(the slow parts suck and the special effects and that opera women wailing in the background,the horror movie music which reminds me of the saucerful thingy ) that suck but the song is such a mish-mash that you remember in the end only the good parts(like you remember your friends only and the school only distantly,i don't know ain't got the chance to forget it yet!)The really good ones that are good all the way through are the ballads which accounts for really the whole album that is except the breakfast.A pretty rotten breakfast in my opinion.

Buy this album, damn it all you can always go directly to your lunch.

Well ,Pink Floyd did this as a soundtrack for a French drug film Called More and it's good except for some of the songs which suck.When Pink Floyd start to rock like some metal headbangers and the singer tries to scream it's then that they suck.They sound like so many bands that you keep hearing about everyday and you don't listen to them again because you have heard the same thing so many times ....oh so many times.

It's when they start to be gloomy and depressing that they rock!Thankfully they realised that pretty early or they would have sucked forever.The special effects as ever play a important part .There are a couple of birds chirping on' Main Theme' and even that sounds sad!I mean birds are supposed to sound cheerful or something like that you know.They are as innovative as ever but I think they couldn't make this album exactly as they wanted to make it.The film makers must have influenced them or something because some songs like 'The Nile Song' doesn't sound like Pink Floyd at all. Overall cut out 4 or 3 songs from the album and this would have got an A.

All right now .Enter Gilmour.The Floyd on it's way to getting more normal I would say.Syd Barret has a couple of songs on here(Jugband Blues for one,don't remember the others).'Let There Be More Light'is a OK song with a simple song structure(one of the last to be so).The third song is the best one on here.The album is on the whole slow the slowest being the title track.In fact it is the worst song on record; just a medley of experimental noises.

Most of the tracks keep the spirit of the album,spooky,dark.In fact quite a saucerful of secrets.

Except for the title track all songs are good or better.And yeah,this is the most underrated album after Meddle.

Buy it and you will have to skip a song only once.It's not the best early album but worth whatever you are paying for it.My brother laughs himself silly over 'Corporal Clegg'.

This were you want to start listening to Pink Floyd.This was the Barret Era and actually the last full Barret album if you want to know.He wrote some songs on the next album but after that you won't find him.His lyrics will not impress anyone because they sound silly even when he is singing . I think all songs have been written by Syd Barret except 'Take up Thy Stethoscope and Walk'.This is a very weird album matched only by'Ummagumma'.But brilliant for all that.You might want to throw this away when you first listen to it but keep listening to it a day or so and you will like it,i promise you.It kicks off with 'Astronomy Domine' which is an excellent one and you will like Syd Barret's voice i promise you.'Lucifer Sam' is the best song on record here .'Interstellar overdrive'is..weird to put it lightly and not many people like it on the first listen.In fact not many people like it anyway.It is quite long and when i listened to it the first time i thought something had gone wrong with my cassete player.
Great Album,buy it.
Or get it from the net,it won't hurt Syd.

I am doing PINK FLOYD first because I love them and they are the only band I have listened to so much ,they are the first band I listened to .
Pink Floyd started out as a underground band and were considered psychedelic pop.Their Lead singer back then was Syd Barret (rock's madman) ,Roger Waters as bassist ,Nick Mason on the Drums and Richard Wright on the keyboard.After their first album Barret's drug problem caught up with him and he was replaced by David Gilmour.
Pink Floyd probably would not have become so famous if Syd Barret had been their guitarist and singer always because ..he was not what you call.... ..commercial.Talk about putting things lightly!Damn it ,Pink Floyd would have remained in obscurity for ever if Syd had kept on with them!They Were a QUEER band to say the least.Nothing Aerosmithish or AC/DCish about them.So if you are expecting to hear a band with the singer belching out words 1000permin you will be very dissapointed.Nor will you hear distorted guitars .When they try to rock they only end up looking like fools(MORE is a case in point) but when they are themselves they beat anything and everything.If you think Sgt pepper's was psychedelic(The Beatles album).......well listen to this.Allright a few facts now
